Job Title: RAN & Transmission Equipment Installation Engineer
Location: Egypt

Responsibilities:

-Lead the installation, integration, and commissioning of Ericsson RAN and transmission equipment, ensuring seamless deployment and optimal performance.
-Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the most effective equipment placement and performance optimization strategies.
-Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to execution.
-Implement rigorous quality control processes to guarantee reliable and high-performance equipment installations.
-Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during installation and commissioning, employing effective problem-solving techniques.
-Configure Minilink 6K with a 2+2 configuration to achieve optimal transmission performance.
-Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including installation procedures, specifications, and equipment records.
-Provide training to team members and end-users on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
-Prioritize health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment during installations.
-Collaborate closely with project managers, network engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless equipment integration and project success.
-Support equipment upgrades and expansions to accommodate increased capacity demands and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
-Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of Ericsson RAN and transmission equipment.
-In-depth knowledge of Ericsson equipment, including DUG, BB6651, DUW41, RBS6000, Eband, PT2020, TN20P, and Minilink 6K with a 2+2 configuration.
-Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently address technical challenges.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
-Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
-Willingness to travel to project sites within Egypt as required.
