Network Engineer

A Network Engineer – is a tech professional who plans, builds, and manages the infrastructure of a network. Some of the roles and responsibilities of a network engineer are:

  1. Designing and implementing both physical and wireless networks, maintaining network performance, managing electronic equipment, troubleshooting network problems, and protecting data from cyber attacks.
  2. Overseeing capacity planning and scaling, installing and configuring servers, integrating new technology into existing networks, investigating inefficiencies and faults in the network, and managing the physical tech in the network.
  3. Implementing security systems and software that protect the technological infrastructure found at a company or organization.
  4. Maintaining disaster recovery operations and data backups, identifying, diagnosing, and fixing hardware, software, and other network problems, and replacing defective hardware components.
  5. Maintaining, customizing, and tracking the device and email applications for virus protection.
  6. Creating networking environments and capabilities, designing system configuration, directing system installation on the client’s device and defining associated protocols.
  7. Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
