Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer specializing in Data Center and Advanced Networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing and switching, with extensive experience in managing data centre networks, particularly using NX-OS and ACI. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in MPLS and know about SDA (Software-Defined Access) and SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network).

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on data centre environments and advanced networking technologies.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in routing and switching technologies.
Extensive experience with Cisco NX-OS and ACI.
Strong understanding of MPLS configuration and management.
Knowledge of SDA and SD-WAN solutions.
Familiarity with network security practices and technologies.

Certifications:
CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Additional certifications in SDA and SD-WAN technologies are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design, implement, and manage complex data centre networks using Cisco NX-OS and ACI.
Develop and deploy scalable network solutions that meet business requirements and performance objectives.
Routing and Switching:
Configure and manage routers and switches, ensuring efficient network traffic flow and high availability.
Implement and maintain routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.

MPLS:
Configure and maintain MPLS networks to ensure efficient and reliable data transport across various network segments.
Implement MPLS VPNs for secure and scalable network segmentation.
Network Troubleshooting and Optimization:
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Continuously monitor network performance and implement optimizations to enhance network efficiency.

Secondary Responsibilities:

SDA (Software-Defined Access):
Implement and manage SDA solutions to enhance network automation, security, and segmentation.
Integrate SDA with existing network infrastructure to optimize access control and policy enforcement.
SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network):
Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions to improve WAN performance, reliability, and flexibility.
Manage SD-WAN infrastructure, ensuring optimal application performance and network resilience.
