Are you a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in MPLS, IP networks, and technologies like Nokia, Cisco, and Fortinet? We have the perfect role for you in Oman!

About the Role:

– Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures using MPLS, IP, and leading devices like Nokia, Cisco, and Fortinet.
– Ensure optimal network performance and implement robust security measures across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

– Network Design & Configuration: Implement and maintain intricate network infrastructures with MPLS, IP, Nokia, Cisco, and Fortinet devices.
– Firewall Management: Configure and monitor firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco) for enhanced network security and traffic filtering.
– Switching & Routing: Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches (Cisco, Nokia) to facilitate seamless data flow within the organization.
– MPLS Configuration & Management: Oversee MPLS networks for efficient routing and high availability.
– Vendor Management: Coordinate with external support (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Nokia) for issue escalations and product support.

Technical Skills:

– Profound knowledge of MPLS, IP networks, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
– Hands-on experience with Nokia, Cisco, and Fortinet technologies.
– Expertise in Cisco IOS and FortiOS firewall configurations.
– Strong grasp of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and IPS/IDS.
– Experience in IP address management, network segmentation, and familiarity with SDN and network automation.
– Relevant certifications like CCNA, NSE, Nokia network certification, and other networking/security certifications.
– 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IP/MPLS networks.
– Background in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Nokia, and Fortinet devices, along with firewall management and security practices.
