Quality Assurance Engineer (Mobile and Web Apps)

Tangent International is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in mobile and web applications to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a keen eye for identifying issues and ensuring product quality.

2 Month extendable contract, MUCT BE AVAIBALE RIGHT AWAY and must be within 3 hours of UAE Time zone.

Responsibilities:

·      Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile and web applications.
·      Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in functionality, usability, and performance.
·      Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
·      Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
·      Document and track defects, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

·      Proven experience in quality assurance testing of mobile and web applications.
·      Strong experience in iOS and Android.
·      Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
·      Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, XCTest, Espresso, or similar.
·      Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues.
