Strategic Management is the process of setting and achieving the goals and objectives of an organization by using its resources effectively and efficiently in a changing environment. It involves formulating and implementing strategies that align with the organization’s vision, mission and values. Strategic Management is not a one-time activity, but a dynamic and ongoing process that requires constant learning and adaptation. As a CEO, you need to be able to communicate your strategy effectively to your stakeholders, motivate your employees to follow your vision, and collaborate with other leaders to create synergies and partnerships. You also need to be able to cope with uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity in a fast-changing world. If you want to become a successful CEO, you need to master strategic management skills such as:
