What are the advantages and disadvantages of using E-Band in MicroWave (MW) transmission?

Advantages:

• High data rate and channel bandwidth

Disadvantages:

• Can only cover short distances ( can’t exceed 5 km )
• High power consumption
• High attenuation effect
