Job Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge, understanding, and hands-on experience in mobile radio access networks – 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
  • RAN Design and Capacity: Understanding of the complex interaction between RAN Design and Capacity.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience supporting RAN Optimization and RF Tools.
  • RAN Site Design: Understanding of RAN site design, including both hardware and software aspects.
  • Performance and Planning: Familiarity with RAN Performance/Optimization and Planning activities across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
  • Micro and Small Cell Design: Experience in micro and small cell nominal and final RF designs, including RF KPIs.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Validate Design Requirements: Validate the requirements for new designs or features.
  • Rollout Planning: Plan the rollout of new designs or features.
  • Vendor Escalation: Escalate issues to vendors and work closely with them for timely resolution.
  • Trial Exit: Oversee trial exits, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide weekly reports on the performance of trials, including LTE, VoLTE, and 5G optimization.
  • Equipment Expertise: Hands-on experience with Ericsson equipment.
  • Network Improvement: Work on network improvement and optimization tasks.
  • Multi-Technology Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot multi-technology networks, including 3G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G.
  • L3 Messages Analysis: Analyze L3 messages and recommend parameter changes for network enhancement.
  • Drive Test Analysis: Analyze drive test logs for customer complaints or other issues.
  • Network Creativity: Troubleshoot with creativity and different approaches for severe, undefined network problems.
  • RF Optimization: Conduct RF optimization and performance analysis, including parameters and KPIs for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
  • BAU Performance Analysis: Perform business-as-usual (BAU) performance analysis for assigned areas/polygons in all technologies.
  • Weekly Reports: Generate weekly performance (KPI) reports for the assigned area, including top offenders, top droppers, customer experience reports, and root cause analytics.
  • Capacity Management: Manage and optimize network capacity as per requirements.
  • Reporting Capability: Define reporting capabilities for service and resource KPIs to monitor, manage, and proactively improve customer experience through performance reports and dashboards.
