Roaming Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Roaming Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining roaming services, conducting tests and audits, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless roaming services. Additionally, you will be involved in Roaming integration, fraud control, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and establish roaming services for 4G/5G/VoLTE networks.
• Perform operation and maintenance tasks related to roaming services.
• Conduct feature testing before the rollout of new roaming services.
• Ensure proper functioning of roaming protocols and policy functions.
• Perform data audits to ensure roaming quality across nodes.
• Provide support and troubleshoot SMS-related issues.
• Investigate abnormal roaming service usage and fraud activities.
• Maintain documentation and procedures for roaming services.
• Conduct proactive health checks of roaming services.
• Develop and implement an annual plan for Hajj and Ramadan.
• Establish roaming services with new partners.
• Verify tests for 2G/3G/4G/5G and IMS (VoLTE Roaming).
• Update and exchange network information among roaming partners.
• Participate in new roaming projects and coordinate integration.
• Maintain seamless roaming services through functional tests.
• Analyze and resolve roaming service failures and anti-steering mechanisms.
• Provide Tier-I support for roaming issues and troubleshoot outages.
• Support off-land roaming services and monitor signaling faults.
• Investigate and prevent revenue loss due to roaming fraud.
• Analyze reports and prevent revenue leakage.
• Ensure compliance with processes and develop new ones.
• Support steering requests and Roamware services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Strong understanding of roaming protocols and network elements.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining roaming services.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting roaming-related issues.
• Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention techniques.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with GSM, GPRS, 3G, 4G, 5G, and VoLTE technologies.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
