Job Title: Cloud Business Development Manager (Finance Sector)
Location: Huawei Kenya
Job Responsibilities:
– Lead cloud business development within Kenya’s top banking sector, identifying and capitalizing on key customer opportunities.
– Drive sales of cloud solutions (public cloud, private cloud, big data, data warehouse, AI) to top banks in Kenya.
– Manage cloud opportunities in the banking sector, engage with CXO-level executives, and build long-term relationships.
– Oversee the bid management process, ensuring successful commercial negotiations and timely delivery.
– Manage partnerships, collaborating with channel partners to drive cloud sales within Kenyan banks.
– Collaborate with sales, solution architecture, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless partner operations and continued business success.
Technical Skills:
– Strong understanding of IT architecture and cloud solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
– Proven experience within Kenya’s top banking institutions.
– Solid technical background with a strong understanding of Azure, AWS, or Oracle cloud solutions.
– Knowledge of customers’ workloads and application requirements.
Professional Knowledge:
– Previous experience in cloud sales within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector in Kenya is preferred.
– Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud solutions in the BFSI space is a plus.
– Experience in one or more public cloud channels within the banking, finance, or insurance sectors is an added advantage.
