Bugzilla

Bugzilla – is a reliable, feature-rich, tested and proved defect/bug tracking solution for software developers. Teams of developers can successfully keep track of unresolved bugs, issues, problems, enhancement requests, and other change requests in their products by using defect-tracking tools. Integrated source code management environments like Github or other web-based or locally installed alternatives sometimes come with basic defect/bug tracking features, however, software developers tend to turn to Bugzilla when their needs exceed the basic features supplied in those platforms, such as when they want workflow management, bug visibility control (security), or custom fields.

Bugzilla is free in terms of both freedom and cost. The majority of vendors of commercial defect/bug tracking software impose steep licensing costs. Despite being free, Bugzilla includes a lot of features that both its pricey and free competitors lack. As a result, Bugzilla is used by hundreds of thousands or more businesses worldwide.

Although it is a web-based system, Bugzilla requires installation on your server in order to be used. Installation is not difficult, though.
