SDHC stands for Secure Digital High Capacity.
An SDHC memory card is a type of Secure Digital (SD) card that has a capacity of 4GB to 32GB and uses the FAT32 file system.
It is one of the three main SD card types, along with SD (up to 2GB) and SDXC (up to 2TB). SDHC cards are compatible with devices that support the SDHC standard, such as digital cameras, camcorders, smartphones and tablets.
Some practical applications of SDHC memory cards are:
• Storing high-resolution photos and videos on digital cameras and camcorders.
• Expanding the storage space of smartphones and tablets for apps, music, movies and more.
• Transferring files between devices using a card reader or adapter.
• Backing up important data or creating a bootable disk for operating systems.
