DevOps is a new approach to optimize and manage end-to-end service delivery and operations. It applies a set of principles to transform the entire software delivery lifecycle to introduce new practices enabled by technology. The primary role of DevOps is to improve the flow from an idea towards value for the customer, enabled by an environment in which multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to continuously deliver high quality solutions, in a faster pace, that qualify for operations.
