📡 We’re Hiring: Mobile Core Network Performance Engineer – Ericsson Core

We’re looking for a highly experienced Mobile Core Network Performance Engineer to join our Managed Services team supporting Mobily. The role requires deep performance expertise across CS, PS, IMS, and IN domains, with a strong focus on Ericsson Core nodes, KPI monitoring, and network optimization in high-demand scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Monitor and analyze KPIs across CS/IMS/IN/PS domains (e.g., NER, ASR, ACT, VoIP metrics)
✔️ Conduct capacity audits and identify resource bottlenecks
✔️ Evaluate the performance impact of projects, new features, and configurations
✔️ Support multi-functional teams: Design, Optimization, Projects, OSS, Back Office
✔️ Analyze international routes and roaming performance (LU, IMSI attach, SAI, PRN, etc.)
✔️ Generate core and international KPI dashboards using ENIQ, MasterClaw, SAP BO
✔️ Tune performance thresholds and configure statistical alarms
✔️ Handle SLA/Governance reporting, SIR reports, and CITC requests
✔️ Develop automation tools and predictive models for performance assurance
✔️ Plan for high-load events (Hajj, Ramadan) with network expansion and simulation
✔️ Support MVNO and national roaming performance assessments
✔️ Coordinate with vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) on performance improvement
Required Technical Competence:
✔️ Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ericsson Core Network Performance roles

✔️ Strong knowledge of:

Ericsson CS Core: MSC-S, MGW, STP, IMS, CTC
Ericsson PS Core: SGSN, MME, GGSN, PGW, PCRF
Ericsson IN: AIR, SDP, CCN, VS, IVR
✔️ Familiar with essential telecom signaling protocols (ISUP, MAP, CAP, SIP, Diameter, H.248, etc.)
✔️ Understanding of telecom interfaces: Gx, Gy, S1, S5, Cx, Dx, etc.
✔️ Call flow analysis for CS/PS/IN
✔️ Strong experience with Anritsu MasterClaw, ENIQ, Business Objects (BO)
✔️ Skilled in UNIX shell scripting, SQL stored procedures, and performance database management
✔️ Power BI, Excel (with macros), and Oracle/MS SQL experience
