Exciting Job Opportunity: Transport Engineer in Riyadh

We are seeking a talented Transport Engineer for a 6-month extendable contract with a reputable client in Riyadh. Please note that this position is open only to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview:
The Transport Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, optimization, and maintenance of E/// transport networks.

Key Responsibilities:
·      Optimize E/// transport solutions, including IP, MPLS, and microwave-based networks.
·      Diagnose and resolve complex faults and performance issues within defined SLAs.
·      Develop, update, and maintain documentation for issue resolution procedures.
·      Implement monitoring tools and systems to oversee network performance.
·      Manage network upgrades, patch installations, and software updates to ensure system integrity.
·      Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., RAN, Core, and IP engineers) for seamless integration of transport solutions.
·      Engage with stakeholders to identify transport-related needs and provide technical guidance on network enhancements.
·      Prepare regular performance reports and deliver insights on network health and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:
·      Proven experience with E/// transport products (e.g., IP RAN, Microwave, Router 6000 series, MINI-LINK).
·      Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Microwave, and Optical networks.
·      Familiarity with transport network protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, LDP, RSVP-TE).
·      Proficiency in network monitoring tools and performance analysis software.
·      CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
