XCAP Logfile Analysis Tool

Qns 1: How to convert XCAL logfiles into Model form to be opened in XCAP Post Processing tool?

1) Click on the New option in the tool bar or from the Menu bar (file -> New).2) A pop up will open now here select all the logs you want to process.
3) Give Model Name
4) Then click on OK.
5) A new Window will be open at the right-side naming Parsing Bar here you will see log processing will start.
5) After Completion of processing your model will be created and saved.

Qns 2: How to open a Model in the XCAP Post Processing Tool?

1) Click on the Open function from the Tool Bar.

2) Now select your required Model which one you want to analyze from laptop/system storage.
3) then click on open.
4) Now a work bar will show at left side naming Model Manager.
5) Now you can check LTE/NR/Event/WCDMA.
6) Suppose we want to check 5G RF data
7) Now click on PCell-> RF->Serving PCI/SS-RSRP/SS-SINR/SS-RSRQ/NR-ARFCN/DL-BLER/UL-BLER/DL-MCS/UL-MCS/SRS Power/PDSCH Thpt.
8) We can see all above parameters or other required parameters in the Map form/Chart form/Table form/Graph form /Horizontally/Vertically/Cascaded form.
9) Here we also can change legends like color of required ranges by clicking on setting or by clicking on ranges popup.
10) For chart bars go in Graph/Map in Menu bar and click on Bar Chart/Pie chart.

Qns 3: How to hide Parsing Bar(logs model creation bar) from right side?
Untick Parsing Bar from above tool bar or vice versa.
Also, close and open Work Bar/Model Manager by tick or untick work bar from tool bar.

Qns 4: How to close already open windows?

1) Click on Graph/Map in Menu Bar.

2) After click on window list option in tool bar.
3) then a Popup will be opened, then you can see all opened windows name list.
4) which one window you want to close select that window name and click on close option.

Qns 5: How to see all windows in cascade/Horizontal/Vertical Mode?
1) Click on Graph/Map in Menu Bar.
2) then Click on the Cascade option in the tool bar.
3) for Horizontal, click on tile horizontally option in the tool bar
4) for Vertical, click on the tile vertically option in the tool bar.

Qns 6: How to Add site in XCAP Tool?

1) Click on Map option from Menu Bar.2) Now you can see a option “Add site” at right side.
3) Click on add site option from tool bar.
4) A new popup will be opened.
5) Now select technology like 5GNR/LTE/WCDMA/GSM which tech sites you want to open in the XCAP tool.
6) Now the Site manager popup will be opened.
7) here Import sites excel data from laptop/system.
8) then click on ok. site data will be open.

Qns 7: How to open Signaling messages in the XCAP tool?

1) Click on the file option in the Menu bar.

2) Now you can see an option naming “Signaling Flow” Click on it.
